Green Chia Fresca Recipe

For those of you looking for a refreshing and healthy drink to try, you may want to give this Green Chia Fresca a shot. Chia is a good source of magnesium, manganese, and omega fatty acids. Lemon is a good source of potassium, vitamin C, aids digestion, and freshens your breath. Our WheatGrass juice is a great source of live chlorophyll (more details on the benefits later!).

 

This recipe does not take long to prepare and it's an easy way to add a nutritional boost to your day!

 

GREEN CHIA FRESCA

Makes 1 serving.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz water/coconut water

  • 1 oz Evergreen WheatGrass Juice

  • ½ lemon, juiced

  • 1-2 tsp chia seeds

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour water/coconut water into a glass.

  2. Juice the lemon half and add to glass.

  3. Stir in 1-2 tsp chia seeds.

  4. Add 1 oz Evergreen WheatGrass Juice. (It can still be frozen!)

  5. Let sit for 10 minutes for the chia to absorb water and for the WheatGrass Juice to melt.

  6. Stir and enjoy!
