Currently, I struggle with mornings. Whatever I need to do in the mornings always seems to take more time than I think it will. To help solve this problem, I am trying to do as much prep as I can the night before. This is why I love overnight oatmeal and parfaits. (Sometimes they look really pretty too!) So in the spirit of the holidays, I thought I would come up with a holiday coloured parfait and it turned out to be quite yummy.
Get your glass or mason jar.
Place 1/4 cup of granola/muesli (or whatever amount you wish) in the bottom of the cup.
Add two large spoonfuls of yogurt.
Add two large spoonfuls of jam or 3 sliced strawberries.
Add one/two large spoonfuls of yogurt.
Add chopped kiwi.
If desired, garnish with more granola/muesli.
If storing overnight, cover and store in the fridge.
